DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- I believe due diligence has not been conducted regarding an increase in beach tolls. It is reported revenue will double if tolls double, but there is no guarantee this increase will occur.

Dustin HavensChristopher KellyHeadline Surfer photos and videos by Sera Frederick / Dustin Havens, far left, and Christopher Kelly, are two of the five candidates in Tuesday's primary vying for Volusia County Judge, group 4.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Dustin Havens and Christopher Kelly are the cream of the crop in Tuesday's crowded field for Volusia County Judge, group 4.

If this were the general election, we'd have to pick one of them. But with five altogether in the race and no incumbent, unless one candidate gets 50 percent of the votes plus one vote, then the top two vote getters will move on to the general election in November. With that said, we are endorsing Havens and Kelly for your consideration.
