Waiting for Edgewater fireworks to start

My lovely wife Sera and I are hanging out near the Edgewater City Hall waiting for the fireworks to begin. It's 8 p.m. and we're beat. It has been a very hectic Fourth of July dealing with tragic breaking news in yet another toddler drowning as well as other news stories of the day and the assorted blogs edited and then posted here on NSBNews.net.

This is our fourth year covering the Edgewater fireworks since our April 7, 2008, launch of this exclusively-online newspaper. We'll have extensive video coverage of the event.

Like many of you, we've been monitoring the Casey Anthony saga on HLN,

the sister cable network of CNN, and, of course, on the Internet with the Associated Press videos here on our home page as well as other news sites.

If I have enough energy after the fireworks, I'll probably post something on the Anthony trial. Sera and I wish all of you and your loved ones a safe and happy Fourth.
