DELTONA -- We have a tradition at our Thanksgiving table. As we enjoy dinner we go around the table and everyone says what they are thankful for. Some of the comments are thoughtful, some funny and sometimes the young ones struggle with the concept of expressing what they are thankful for.

I always look forward to this sharing of thanks. So on this Thanksgiving day, I am thankful for old friends, new ones and most of all for family that is loving of each other and tolerant of differences and caring and protecting the next generation.

Today, I host 30 plus people. Can't wait to hear their thanks.
