MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Even Fox News is doing this whole celebratory pee-pee dance over bipartisanship spirit.

Now certainly it's good to see everyone coming together to save lives; but in terms of the government?

Just once I wish someone would challenge this. Someone should Say, "well, actually, our system of government is designed to insist our representatives are at loggerheads over an assortment of issues, therefore protecting people's liberties; to keep government hemmed in, as it were. And umm, it seems like every time there is a spirit of bipartisanship, I lose more and more of my liberty."
