ORLANDO -- This week we had the opportunity to join Education Commissioner Pam Stewart’s Back-to-School Tour and saw firsthand how our historic investments in education are making a great difference in preparing students for success in the classroom and future careers.

We know a great job begins with a great education, which is why in the upcoming legislative session we will propose an increase in Florida’s per-pupil spending to the highest level in our state’s history.

Florida’s growing economy is what makes these record investments possible, so let’s keep working towards an opportunity economy, and creating jobs for the next generation.
