EDGEWATER, Fla.-- Mainstream media seems to be loving our new president’s obsession with being front and center on everything. Be it tweets or actual events, they take advantage of every minute he allows them access of any kind.

The world has seen him sign many, many executive orders which he then holds up to show even though we can ‘t possibly see what it says. The most we can see is his rather large signature. We have even seen a picture through the window of the oval office showing what is supposedly a call between President Trump and Russian President Putin. Don’t you think that is carrying his media coverage a bit too far?

Trump could actually have been talking to no one or his family, for all we know or the mainstream media, for that matter.

If Mainstream media continues to believe whatever he says and does without questioning anything and blabs it all to the viewers, this country is doomed in my opinion. We need some Woodward and Bernsteins out there working the beat.

We have known from the start that President Trump lives, eats and sleeps exposure of all his supposed good deeds. Some of these good deeds turn out to be not well-thought-out messes. For instance, Trump signed an order regarding foreigners coming into the country. The next day at one of New York's airports, more than a dozen foreigners were detained and not allowed into the country. One man who has a green card and was here with his wife and three children was denied entry while his wife and kids went through with no problem. After 17 hours of questioning with no food or sleep he was finally released and allowed to join them.

Then we find that he had been a translator for the U. S. in Iraq. We need such people and owe them for their assistance and this is how we treat one of them? How do you think we will convince anyone we will have their backs in the end from now on?

The world is watching every move this country makes and so far President Trump’s first week may make him feel he is doing what he said he’d do, but many of his well published executive orders have backfired. We have to hope he and his people start doing better quickly. It is not enough to just sign the order and expect it to be carried out when there is no plan how it should work to go with it.

The authorities in New York were trying to do what he wanted but flying by the seats of their pants as to how to go about it since no rules came with that order. The President should be questioning whether there is sufficient planning for how his order will be carried out, but if he isn’t smart enough to do so, then his staff should have done that thinking and planning before letting him sign the order.

Trump is acting like he is running his one of his companies and whatever he says someone down the line makes it work. Not so in running a country, sir! Don’t even get me started on Trump's continued habit of tweeting. It is something perhaps a president might do once in a while but not daily and not because his thin-skin has been hurt. Obviously, I am not a Trump supporter, but I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt since he is our president and deserves a chance.

Don’t even get me started on Trump's continued habit of tweeting, like the one displayed here at left, with a jab at Mexico. It is something perhaps a president might do once in a while, but not daily and not because his thin-skin has been hurt. Obviously, I am not a Trump supporter, but I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt since he is our president and deserves a chance.

However, what he has done in his first week in office is showing me he has no clue what he is doing and his decisions for cabinets posts are off the wall. The entire thing scares me about the future.

How about you? What do you think?
