Transformers' star Josh Duhamel and crew to serve as grand marshals for today's Daytona 500

She'll also return to Daytona International Speedway to perform a 60-minute pre-race concert prior to the 53rd annual Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night, July 2, DIS officials announced this morning.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- A 61-year-old motorcyclist was killed last night and his passenger critically injured in a collision with a Jeep, New Smyrna Beach police said.
The loggerhead sea turtle is an oceanic turtle found throughout the world, including the Sunshine State. This marine reptile belongs to the family Cheloniidae (which includes all sea turtles except the leather-back sea turtle). They weigh around 300 pounds when fully grown and can be up to 7 feet long.
DAYTONA BEACH -- Police are on the look-out for a white four-door vehicle in a that struck three pedestrians -- killing one of them -- while they were standing in the median in the 900 block of Ridgewood Avenue this afternoon.
The deadly hit-and-run occurred at 4:49 p.m. The vehicle was described as possibly a Buick or Nissan and should have a broken window as a result of striking the person killed.
