NEW SMYRNA BEACH – City resident, a long-time advocate and supporter of the Mosquito Lagoon Enhancement Center, cried as a big claw swiped at the side of a building on the camps of the former New Smyrna Beach High School, scattering bricks below.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Wednesday may be Prince spaghetti Day for Anthony, but Saturday is spaghetti for everyone in the cafeteria of New Smyrna Beach High School for five bucks a person.

The occasion is the 11th Annual NSB CAPS fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

The spaghetti dinner includes salad, bread and a soft drink. While there, you can also shop at the Cuda Corner. All proceeds from this event go directly to students at NSB. Tickets are available at the door.

The State Attorney's investigation looked at alleged unlawful activity centered around Ihnken, including allegations that he and Sheriff's deputy William Armstrong made and ignited homemade bombs while on duty, and that Young knew that Ihnken had falsified records. OAK HILL -- A damning report from the State Attorney's Office obtained Tuesday by NSBNEWS.net under Florida's open records laws says "probable cause exists" that embattled Oak Hill police officer Mike Ihnken committed a crime by taking required online tests for fellow officers and affixing their names.

However, the State Attorney investigation report concludes there isn't sufficient evidence to successfully prosecute it in a court of law.
