It’s a stupid woman, indeed, who doesn’t recognize she’s being raped. And that’s
exactly what’s happening in America today.
Attempting to outlaw choice and cheering on the “heroes” who sanction the murder of its providers is only the first step; women are being refused birth-control prescriptions, financial support and information by the self-righteous who would inflict their idea of morality on everyone else.
Terrified little men who can’t take the competition must anesthetize their doubts about their masculinity by bullying women into motherhood times twelve, denying them any possibility of their own identities.
Odious little tyrants like Bart Stupak want to legislate dragging women by the hair, back to the kitchen and bedroom -- back to the cave!
In the name of all that’s humane, where does he or any man get off moralizing about a choice he’ll never have to make? And why do our so-called representatives continue to sanction such distortion of our constitutional rights?
Even more dictatorial are the unfortunate number of women ready to contribute to their own slavery. Dragging the rest of us under with them, such pious little pussycats, ever-ready to substitute “Yes, Master” for mental exercise, are all for dedicating their lives and devotion to good old daddy until he turns them over to good old hubby for further and perpetual control.
Content to sacrifice any life plan of their own, they will dedicate their lives to raising children to be cannon-fodder on the battlefields of future Afghanistans. Closing their eyes to that definition of murder, they add suicide to the issue, turning their own bodies into caskets for theirs and every other woman’s dreams.
Once denied a voice to say “I have better things to contribute to the world than inhabit it as a baby factory,” a woman has given up the use of her mind, her imagination, and her right to scream, “Rape!”
