DeBary Hall to display 'Very Special Arts' artwork in October

DEBARY -- The DeBary Hall Historic Site will display the artwork of four artists from Very Special
Arts Volusia throughout October.

Very Special Arts, an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, is a nonprofit group that allows people with disabilities to learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.

The artwork may be viewed during regular tour times for regular admission. DeBary Hall is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon - 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and younger.

Each month, DeBary Hall honors a local artist or artists by displaying their workinside the historic house museum, which was built by champagne importer Frederick deBary in 1871.
