DAYTONA BEACH -- On Tuesday, State Rep. Dorothy L. Hukill, R-Port Orange, will speak with members of Family Academics In The Home (F.A.I.T.H.), a homeschooling group based in Volusia County, at a meeting of the group in Daytona Beach.
Hukill will discuss state policies that enrich the homeschooling experience and provide support for parents who choose alternative educational options for their children.
F.A.I.T.H. is a cooperative organization that provides parents of local homeschooled children with a network for the sharing of educational resources. The group also sponsors additional activities for homeschooled children, such as field trips and educational fairs.
