DAYTONA BEACH -- The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a wind-chill advisory from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday for Volusia County and several adjoining counties, creating temperatures in the 30s.

ALTHOUGH FREEZING CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED...TEMPERATURES IN
MOST LOCATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE COLDER THAN IN THE PREVIOUS
WEEK. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 30S
ACROSS AREAS NORTHWEST OF THE INTERSTATE FOUR CORRIDOR AND OSCEOLA
COUNTY...AND IN THE UPPER 30S TO NEAR 40 DEGREES IN METRO ORLANDO
AND THE IMMEDIATE VOLUSIA COUNTY COAST.

THE COMBINATION OF COLD TEMPERATURES AND WINDS WILL CREATE WIND
CHILLS IN THE UPPER 20S NORTHWEST OF THE INTERSTATE FOUR CORRIDOR...AND
THE LOWER 30S ACROSS METRO ORLANDO AND OSCEOLA COUNTY THROUGH 8 AM
MONDAY MORNING.

REMEMBER TO DRESS WARMLY OVERNIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW MORNING IF
VENTURING OUTDOORS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. ALSO...PETS CAN BE
