DAYTONA BEACH -- A 14-year-old girl missing for a week has been found safe on Christmas Eve, police said.
Freshllyn Marie Maddox was found 7 p.m. at the Star homess shelter on Segrave Street about 7 p.m., police said.
She had run away from her father's home after police brought her there after an argument she had with her mother, police said. She had not taken her medicines for bipolar, having left them behind.
