Will he or won't he: Is The Donald all trumped up?

Could he? Would he? Should Donald Trump run for President? What qualifications does he have that are a sure-fire antidote to Obama’s never-ending spending, disastrous monetary policy, non-existent foreign policy and a host of other situations that call for leadership?

Trump has, however, recovered from several bankruptcies and created jobs for thousands of American workers. I certainly agree with “The Donald” that Mr. Obama lives in the world of make-believe. After all, just this week Mr. O decided to end-run Congress and retain the Czars that the Republicans defunded in February. The rules don’t seem to apply to the current Administration or he isn’t aware that the Constitution makes no provision for highly paid, unelected Czars.

Mr. Trump has been all over the news lapping up the attention and being coy about announcing whether or not he’s actually going to run. “If I run, I’ll run as a Republican.” Some polls have him trailing Obama by 20 points.

Okay, so what if he jumps in? He’ll have the money to run a campaign without becoming a slave to unions, big business, lawyers, etc. Obama is owned by special interests. Trump’s campaign will be focused and filled with incendiary quotes. But his wide-ranging exposure on the internet may come back to bite him.

This isn’t the 1950s where what you say fades into the background. Trump has complimented Obama in the past and gave $50 grand to first-pal Rahm Emanuel, now Chicago mayor.

Recently The Donald called Obama the worst president in history. That was after calling Bush the worst and before that Carter as the worst. Hmmm.

Perhaps expediency would be a hallmark of a Trump presidency.

And let’s imagine Trump in presidential primary debates against Mitt Romney, Michele Bachman, Tim Pawlenty, Sarah Palin and whoever else is in it to win it.

Trump has not made known his positions on the various wars we are involved in, how to cut spending, whether or not he will pass the buck on our national debt, and a myriad of other issues the next president will have to deal with. Still speculating, I’d like to be a mouse in the corner when Trump deals with Congress.

Obama has made not ever directly answering a question an art form. Trump would give him a run for the money if he were the selected Republican nominee.

Can we endure another four years of Obamamania? I don’t think so. He thrives on class warfare. He thinks “the rich” should pay for everyone; this is a typical Marxist view.

American was founded on individual freedom. Read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Nowhere in either document does it set forth that those who work should pay for those who don’t or that they should not enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Mocking the citizens you govern is hardly the path to greatness. Obama has misused at least a trillion dollars of money from “the rich,” i.e. those of us who have jobs. His “stimulus” bill was a horrific failure.

The bailouts of our banks and auto companies has rewarded Obama's campaign contributors and forced small businesses, especially small banks, into bankruptcy. Trump would have a field day in this part of any debate.

The million-dollar question, or should we say, "billion-dollar question" regarding the Apprentice himself: Will he or won't he run?

Only the Donald knows. One thing is a sure bet: You will never see Donald Trump bow to a foreign power. And that is a good thing.
