NEW SMYRN BEACH -- There is a lot of news that we still need to get to today, barring major breaking news. We're giving Edgewater's elected officials every opportunity to be heard before we publish a new story on the suspension of Police Chief Dave Arcieri. We're waiting on call back requests with Mayor Michael Thomas and Councilwoman Gigi Bennington this morning and then we will publish a new story based on our exclusive interview with Arcieri.
We're also continuing work on several significant stories simultaneously in New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach. We posted our exclusive hour-long video interview with County Chair Jason Davis last night. It's definitely worth checking out. A lot of work went into producing this video-story package. We believe the interview will give the public keener insight into who Davis is, personality-wise as well as his politics.
