EDGEWATER -- I am rejoicing with the families of those three girls who were held captive for 10 years by Ariel Castro, the Cleveland man accused of kidnapping and rape. They should lock that guy up forever.

What is irking me is they are not charging the other men. I heard one day they were going to consider some misdemeanors but they were not specified. Now really! If you or I had lived in that house, you know we would know something was going on that wasn’t right.
If I robbed a store and shot a man in the process and you were just driving the car without knowledge of what I did you’d be charged as an accessory so why are these other guys going free? I just don’t believe they were oblivious all those years and just because they did nothing to find out what was going on or to help those girls to me is a criminal offense.
Since neighbors did report things over the years and police actually went to the house and basically did nothing -- not even look into the goings on in that house after the calls -- they also should be held responsible for lack of judgment or not doing their jobs to the fullest.
Where is the justice for these girls?
And people wonder why so many citizens do not believe in our justice system. It's easy to see why in my opinion.

Fast Facts:
On May 6, three women from Cleveland, -- Amanda Berry, Georgina "Gina" DeJesus, and Michelle Knight -- were rescued from their 9-to-11-year captivity after Berry escaped and contacted police. They had been held captive in a house owned by Ariel Castro, now the suspect in their kidnappings. A 6-year-old daughter of Berry, born into captivity, was also rescued. DNA evidence confirmed that Castro is the child's biological father, which he admitted as well.
Knight had disappeared in Cleveland in 2002, at age 21, Berry in 2003 at 16, and DeJesus in 2004 at 14. While captive, the women had multiple pregnancies, at least one live birth (Berry's daughter), and multiple miscarriages. The women were at times bound with chains and rope.
Ariel Castro was arrested on May 6, shortly after the women were freed. On May 8, Castro was charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape, charges that carry prison sentences of 10 years to life. On May 9, Castro's bail was set at $8 million. Additional charges are pending, including aggravated murder (for allegedly terminating the pregnancies), attempted murder, assault, a charge for each alleged instance of rape, and a kidnapping charge for each day each victim was allegedly held captive. -- Source: Wikipedia
