CLEVELAND -- Dana Dougherty of Deltona, FL, is among some 2,472 delegates nationwide attending the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, for three days, beginning Monday to select the party's presidential nominee. -- Donald J. Trump, who has chosen Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate.

Dougherty, is representing the 7th Congressional District, which includes a portion of Southeast Volusia as well as Seminole and Orange counties.

Two other delegates from Volusia County are H. Alan Burton and Tony Ledbetter, chairman of the Volusia County Republican Executive Committee.

Ledbetter and Burton are representing CD 6, which includes parts of Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns counties.
