DAYTONA BEACH, Fla, - Here is the latest on Tropical Storm Isaias from the National Weather Service for greater Daytona Beach as of 5 am: TS Isaias is currently centered about 60 miles east of the Volusia County coast as it continues to move northward offshore towards the Florida-Georgia line about sunrise.

Tropical storm conditions along the coast of Volusia County will gradually diminish and completely pull away around sunrise, according to the National Weather Service out of Melbourne.

Occasional rain bands with gusty squalls will continue to push onshore along Brevard and Volusia counties, but with diminishing frequency and intensity as day-rise nears.

Wind gusts as high as 45 to 50 mph remain possible in the most intense squalls. Rainfall amounts up to around 1 to 2 inches or may occur in a few spots along the immediate coast of Volusia County.
