Daytona Beach-area taxpayer watchdog Margie Patchett fed up with ideological corruption gridlock: 'Our government has run amuck'

And mainstream media continues to fan the flames and whipping up anger among the citizenry.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Margie Patchett, an avowed conservative who, herself, once ran for an elected county seat, is fed up with the dog-eat-dog ideological gridlock in Washington -- on both sides of the political spectrum.

"Our government has run amuck: I posted just a handful of corruption," Patchett of Port Orange and head of a local taxpayer watchdog group wrote wrote on her Facebook page of the ongoing saga with the FBI and its investigations of boh Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

"If I were president, I would say 'Go ahead and investigate me and my team and while you are at it investigate the entire US Senate and Congress,' " said Patchett, wife, mother, grandmother, Realtor and executive director of Volusia Tax Reform. "They have found the way of becoming filthy rich by creating foundations, living off their campaign accounts, politcal action committees, etc. etc. Investigate them all because our government is corrupt. Investigate Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters;  oh, and let's not forget Harry Reid. What happened to public service?"
