Daytona State College to hold job fair on Tuesday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2016) - More than 50 local and regional employers will be on hand for Daytona State College's Fall Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Mori Hosseini Center (bldg. 1200) on the Daytona Beach Campus, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.

Presented by DSC's Career Services Department, the job fair welcomes alumni and students, as well as all job seekers.

 "Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with résumés in hand, dressed for success and ready to talk about their work history and career interests," Daytona State Colle spokeswoman Laurie White said.

Among the businesses expected to attend are Northwestern Mutual, Synergy Billing, National Broadband, Spherion, Humana, Randstad USA, Boston Whaler, Thomas & Betts, Total Quality Logistics, Walgreens, Sherwin-Williams, New York Life and U.S. Foods, to name just a few.

Public and non-profit organizations expected to participate include Flagler County Schools, the Council on Aging, Haines City Police Department, Volusia County Sheriff's Department, Halifax Health, Adventist Health System and more.
