Florida schools not safe for kids with this pandemic

EDGEWATER, Fla. -- I do not see how the politicians - school boards - can possibly open the schools safely here in Florida with this pandemic on the rise again in infections and death.

How could students and teachers wear masks all day long with the diminished oxygen levels doing long-term harm to, especially the growing children?

Young ones will be taking them off and being kids, which will mean touching each other and kidding around. You can try to sanitize every surface, but in older levels when they change classrooms are teachers going to be expected to wipe down every item in the room? They have their own jobs to do.

I feel children miss out by not being in a classroom environment to learn, but not until a safer time.

The burden on parents for home schooling for another whole year is not feasible either.

This whole thing is a mess and it seems no one knows what they are doing. I am so glad I do not have kids at this time, but fear for friends and family who do.
