Kosmas' 'no' vote on health care means nothing

When Suzanne Kosmas voted against the health care bill in Congress many wondered if she had seen the light, but it was too good to be true. She voted against the spending, alright, but so did a couple dozen other Democrats under a scheme perpetrated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

First Kosmas said that her vote against the bill was because it would cost too much.

That, of course, was true, but her words carried no clue that she had any really fundamental problem with the fact that the bill was simply a terrible piece of legislation that would severely damage the country and contribute the destruction of the health care we have now.

Now we find out that apparently her vote had nothing to do with any personal opinion about the legislation.

About 20 Democrats in districts that were against the bill were given ”permission “ to vote against the bill without reprisals by the Democratic Party.

The reprisals would consist of things like cutting the stimulus funds for her district or not being invited into the Washington democratic social circle.

Since Congresswoman Kosmas has blindly supported all of the other terrible legislation created by the Democratic party it was too much to hope for that she had seen any light of any kind.

So much for hoping for real change by our first-term Congresswoman from New Smyrna Beach.
