At the height of morning rush hour, a New Jersey commuter train packed with passengers and traveling way too fast crashed into Hoboken Terminal, killing a woman waiting on the platform and injuring more than 100 others, according to a published report from CNN.

Witnesses said the train overran its stopping point, slammed into a bumper block, went airborne and hurtled through a passenger concourse at about 8:45 a.m. at the terminal, one of the busiest transit hubs in the New York area.

"When we determine it is safe, we will repoen," New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said, confirming Fabiola Bittar de Kroon, 34, of Hoboken, was killed. Christie said the woman had been standing on the platform and was struck by debris.
