Shrinking gas prices and bail-outs galore

It's hard to believe the news any more or maybe it's just that it is so depressing. For example, it turns out that nearly half the bail-out money for Wall Street is being re-directed. Makes you wonder if what's already been allotted was wasted.

The Big 3 automakers in Detroit want bail-out money on top of the $25 billion already received.

Sarah Palin says the mainstream media has been mean to her, not only during the campaign, but after the election in reporting anonymous sources from the McCain camp describing her as "rogue" and being a "diva" in addition to not being able to differentiate between the continent of Africa and actual countries there.

Closer to home, there's infighting on the New Smyrna Beach City Commission about the job performances of City Manager John Hagood and City Attorney Frank Gummey.

Money is tight everywhere and each day brings more bad news about the stock market and the looming recession.

At least gas is cheap right now. Who would have thought that would be possible after the $5-plus per gallon we were paying not so long ago?
