Trick or treat: NSB gal's got look-alike dibs on Sarah Palin this Halloween

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- She has the glasses, hair and shapely figure, but she's not interested in politics and she doesn't have a $150,000 wardrobe.

This 22-year-old is the spittin' image of Sarah Palin: That's right, the glasses, the long black hair partly tied up and the red blouse and black skirt.

Meet Meghan Clancy, the closest resemblance to the Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate.

The occasion you ask? Well, it's Halloween, silly.

Besides, everyone else at Clancy's Cantina on the beachside was dressed for Halloween this evening.

After all, her father, Matthew Clancy, owns the restaurant and he thought her get-up was hilarious, she said.

When jokingly asked if she has a $150,000 wardrobe and where she actually gets her clothes, the Palin-lookalike responded, "No, I'm a waitress. I shop at American Eagle." But here's the real kicker.

The treat is that Clancy is a Palin babe. The trick is Clancy doesn't agree with the gun-toting conservative Republican's politics.

"I'm vo

ting on Tuesday -- she wouldn't be my first choice," Clancy said, adjusting her glasses, and preferring to end the political ideology discussion right there.

So why did she decide to dress up like the candidate she doesn't favor? It's simple: "For the past month, everyone says I look like her -- the glasses and the hair." Just like Tina Fey? "Yes, I watched (the comedian and the VP candidate) on Saturday Night Live and they were funny."

The Sarah Palin likeness is Clancy's first Halloween dress-up in three years. Her last reincarnation: "(Pretty in Pink star) Molly Ringwald from the '80s."
