Trump likeness in Mexican Wax Museum

U.S. President Donald Trump and his Mexican counterpart Enrique Pena Nieto did not manage to meet in person last week, but they stood side by side at the Mexico City Wax Museum. Nathan Frandino reports.

Dressed to the T, U.S. President Donald Trump has found a home south of the border... Well, his wax version at least. At Mexico City's Wax Museum, locals can find the new president standing next to their president, Enrique Pena Nieto. The two leaders were supposed to meet last week, but it was called off due to tensions over Trump's plan to build a wall and to make Mexico pay for it. Wax Museum Manager Cesar Urbano says he hopes they meet soon.

Wax museum manager Cesar Urbano said,  "They have to meet to bring about new deals because at the end of the day we are civilized countries. And as civilized countries, we have to find peace to have negotiations, right?"

Museum visitor Monica Mendoza says Trump has simply done what he's promised: pursue his immigration policies. She says there are no hard feelings.

"Well for us Mexicans, it is fun for us to come and see this image of Trump here with all the bad things he has expressed about Mexico," Mendoza said.

The two leaders agreed not to discuss the payment of Trump's proposed border wall for the time being.
