NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Meet veterinarian and author Matt Toia at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.
Toia will discuss his book, “You Want Me to Declaw What?! Adventures of an Animal Doctor,” in which he describes some of the encounters he has had with his wild and eclectic patients. With respect for the animals he treats, the doctor will share funny, touching and downright outrageous tales from his years on the front line.
