How or why?

"I have power!" he said. 

"I called the Mayor of NSB, Jim Hathaway, one of my lifelong friends last night," McNair explained.  "And he called me at 7:45 this morning. I want to thank him for a quick response and for helping me and my neighbors get the power back on this morning first thing! Thanks Jim!"

With Hurricane Irma slowly moving through the Carribean on its way to Florida with sustained winds of 145, Sunshine State residents are feeling anxious.
