DAYTONA BEACH -- The head of the Republican Party of Volusia County is using Gov. Rick Scott's photo on his exceutive committee's Facebook page as if the governor's speaking for that organization.
And the county's lead office holder and Republican thinks it's improper.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Just weeks after the Volusia County Council approved $20 million in taxpayer funds for the "One Daytona" retail village across from Daytona International Speedway, County Chair Jason Davis was miffed to learn a luxury hotel was part of the project, but not revelead until after $20 million in funding was secured for the private venture.
DAYTONA BEACH -- Volusia County Beach Safety flew the yellow flag today for moderate rip current conditions with nearly two dozen people caught in rip currents who had to be rescued.
Besides 21 rescues, there were some other issues for breach safety personnel to contend with on this hot Saturday.
