The Atlanta Braves were cheered by a massive turnout of fans Friday to celebrate the team's first World Series championship since 1995.
The crowd at a Houston music festival suddenly surged toward the stage during a performance by rapper Travis Scott, squeezing fans so tightly together that they could not breathe or move their arms, witnesses said Saturday of the horrific incident the night before. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner at a press conference said the youngest of the eight dead was 14 years old.
