NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Larry Chisolm was among the first generation of African Americans to attend the newly integrated Faulkner Street Elementary School in the early 1970s. Today while thousands of New Smyrna Beach residents enjoyed the extended holiday weekend, he and several hundred others marched in celebration of Martin Luther King Day.
Dear Members, I would like to thank my fellow Chamber members for presenting me with this opportunity to serve as Chamber President for 2010. I feel humbled, honored, grateful, and extremely excited to serve on your behalf in 2010. It is my purpose to serve the greater good by bringing people and resources together to create value that no single person can build alone.
