The internet newspaper had hoped to have it published on Sunday as promoted, but as things turned out, that was an ambitious goal that in hindsight wasn't realistic.

DAYTONA BEACH -- No candidate running in non-partisan campaigns in Volusia County in the past decade, including this election cycle, has amassed more financial contributions than Sheriff Ben Johnson with $444,591.87.

Johnson last ran in 2012, when he easily won.

Second is district 5 term-limited County Councilwoman Patricia Northey with $355,850.05, who is running in this election for the at-large seat on the council against incumbent Joyce Cusack.

Orlando Magic star Victor Oladipo out of action indefinitely with facial fracture

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo will be out indefinitely after suffering a facial fracture in practice Thursday, General Manager Rob Hennigan announced Saturday.

Oladipo, 22, who was evaluated Thursday afternoon, underwent a corrective surgical procedure. He was injured after taking an inadvertent elbow during a practice drill.
