Dear Friends: For a dozen years I have been involved with Relay For Life -- 2 years in Daytona area and this 10th year in Southeast Volusia. I would like you to go to the Relay For Life web site and view my page and my reason to relay.
I know that many of you have made donations to the American Cancer Society or are involved with your area Relay For Life. But if you have not, I humbly request that you consider making a donation through my efforts by going to www.sevrelay.com - then click on "top participants" - look for MARGARET McDonald and make your donation online. If that is uncomfortable for you and you would prefer mailing your donation, make your check payable to the American Cancer Society and mail it to me at 730 Pine Shores Circle, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
Whether or not you donate, I invite you to attend our Relay For Life in Riverside Park on April 16, beginning at 5:30 and continuing for 18 hours - because Cancer Never Sleeps -- or for those of you out of town and out of state, look for a Relay For Life in your area and support that one. If you are a survivor, sign up and participate in the survivor walk.
