City of Orlando releases new Pulse massacre video clips

ORLANDO, Fla. -- "Come out with your hands up, or you will die!"

That's the order of a law enforcement official with either the Orlando PD or the Orange County Sheriff's Office to the gunman in the Pulse shooting, among 11 hours worth of body cam video clips released this week by the City of Orlando to the Associated Press, ABC News and other media outlets.

DELTONA, Fla. -- Patricia Northey served more than 20 years on the Volusia County Council, but she'd be the first to tell anyone that pales in comparison to those Americans who have served in the military as her father-in-law, John L. Northey, did in World War II. he died in 2011.

Southern rocker Gregg Allman, who spent part of his childhood in Daytona, has died at age 69

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Gregg Allman, Southern rocker, who was was born and spent much of his childhood in Nashville, Tenn, and then most of his teen years in Daytona Beach, before forming the Allman Brothers band and creating classic hits like "Midnight Rider" and "Ramblin' Man," has died at the age of 69.

For New Smyrna Beach's Sammi Hicks it's been there, done that! She's not alone. More than 150 high school students graduated earlier this month from Daytona State College with associate degrees that will allow them to go directlly to most colleges as juniors.

DAYTONA BEACH Fla. – After receiving more than 200 applications, Daytona State College has selected Erik Pastrana as the Falcon’s new head men’s basketball coach. Pastrana, who spent the last year as an assistant coach at Florida International University, brings a decade of experience as an assistant in both NJCAA and NCAA play to his first head coaching position.
