I am pleased to announce that we have surpassed 200,000 "hits" on NSBNEWS.net since our launch a year ago this month. This is a testament to hard work and the demand of the marketplace for real community journalism. Like everyone else, we are struggling in a recession, but our costs and advertising rates are still the best buy around because there is little overhead and an absence of corporate greed.
We hope to continue providing a valuable community service here for the residents and merchants of Southeast Volusia who hunger for real news and awareness of the important issues and events that shape this community. You get local, state, national and world news on one site and it costs you nothing. And, of course, we are environmentally green - no ratty newsprint thrown on the driveway.
