DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. -- Lauren Heaton, 18, of New Smyrna Beach, was among five young women employed as strippers at the Biggins Gentlemen's Club who made decent tip money showing their assets to paying customers.

Daytona Beach Shores police went undercover to bust strippers who were showing a little more -- in illicit drug sales, that is.

Heaton was among five women busted by the cops at Biggins, 2342 South Atlantic Ave., during "Operation Striptease.

Officers of the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety served a search warrant Friday night as part of an undercover investigation into the illicit sales of prescription narcotics.

The investigation centered on employees of Biggins, the beachside strip joint. The investigation was initiated in response to complaints from customers and fellow employees regarding the sales of prescription pain killers by employees at the club.

During the operation, undercover agents purchased roxicodone, rydrocodone and xanax from dancers while they worked inside the club. Multiple sales were made as management stood close by, according to a press release issued by Daytona Beach Shores police spokesman Detective Sgt. Mike Fowler.

Besides the 18-year-old Heaton of New Smyrna Beach, who was charged with sale and delivery of roxicodone, others arrested were Rose Anna Marie Gustin, 25, Palm Coast, sale and delivery of oxycodone/sale and delivery of roxicodone; Amanda Deavers, 22, Daytona Beach, trafficking in hydrocodone/sale and delivery of hydrocodone; Angela Glenn, 20, Ormond Beach, possession of cannabis; Noble Poquette, 46, no address given, possession of cocaine, possession of hydrocodone and possession of cannabis.

Officers also obtained an arrest warrant for Rosalie Kain, 29, Daytona Beach, accusing her of sale and delivery of hydrocodone. She is at large.
