ORMOND BEACH -- A 52-year-old biker was killed Sunday in the 2,000 block of North Beach Street on the property of Tomoka State Park, Ormond Beach police said.
Police spokesman Kenny Hayes said the unidentified rider was northbound on Beach Street when he failed to negotiate a sharp left curve just before the bridge. The 2004 Harley Davidson stuck the guardrail along the north shoulder of the road and the rider was ejected.
The biker was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene by fire/rescue personnel.
