NASCAR driving legend "Mad" Marion McDonald, also known as "Mad Mac," gave School Board candidate Sharon Luebbers some practical advice once told to him by the late, great Bill France. He would never win races until he learnede "when to go and when to slow."
Luebbers said Mad Mac recalled the late NASCAR giant Bill France once told him he would never win races until he learned “when to go and when to slow.”
Once he learned that, Mac says he started winning.
Luebbers said she has adopted his advice with hopes of winning her inaugural school board race. Luebbers has been campaigning near schools throughout District 3 to "seek community input regarding the schools, since it is through our community that the problems facing our schools will be solved."
