The deaths of two people found shot to death n front of a Deltona home ruled a double murder

DELTONA -- Investigators have vruled the deaths of two adults found blooodied in front of a home Sunday afternoon a double homicide, a Volusia County Sheriff's spokesman said.

The Sheriff's Major Case Unit continues to investigate in an effort to determine the circumstances of the killings and identify the person or persons responsible for the double slaying just before 4 p.m. in front of 965 Hartley Ave..

"The victims, an adult male and adult female, have been tentatively identified by investigators," Sheriff's spokesman Gary Davidson said in a statement released to the media just before 10 p.m.

The Volusia County Medical Examiner's Office is scheduled to conduct autopsies on Monday to confirm the identities of the victims and the cause of their deaths, he said.

No other information was released.
