Port Orange-South Daytona Chamber of Commerce salutes South Daytona public safety officials

SOUTH DAYTONA -- Professionalism, commitment and service were the qualities that distinguished two South Daytona public safety employees who were recently honored by the Port Orange-South Daytona Chamber of Commerce.

Police officer Anthony Labombard, an 11-year employee, was named "2010 Chamber Police Officer of the Year" and Fire Lt. Adam Huth, a 10-year employee, was honored as the "2010 Chamber Firefighter of the Year" at the Chamber’s annual City Manager’s breakfast.

Huth was recognized for his "exemplary leadership skills, teamwork and adaptability," South Daytona spokeswoman Jeanne Willard said.

.As community crime prevention officer, Labombard was lauded for his "outstanding community relationship skills and development of crime prevention programs," Willard said.
