Family members were concerned for the young woman's wellbeing because she suffers from depression and has exhibited signs of being disoriented, agency spokesman Gary Davidson said Saturday.
"(She) has been staying with relatives..., but walked away from the home around 6:45 p.m. Thursday. Family members weren't sure where she was going," Davidson said. "After waking up Friday morning and discovering that (she) still hadn’t returned, relatives reported Lombardy missing to the Sheriff’s Office at 7:20 a.m."
Deputies were looking for her from that point on, until she was found Friday evening, the spokesman said. The Sheriff's Office did not release any information on how she ended up in Ormond Beach.
