PORT ORANGE -- Two men suffered non-life threatening stab wounds in a fight Sunday night that started inside the Port Hole bar on Herbert Street and spilled into the streets nearly a block away, Port Orange police said.
One man suffered a stab wound to the leg and the other to his leg and torso, police said of the 7:30 p.m. fight. Police said they were not sure if the wounds were caused by a knife or a broken beer bottle in a fight that involved five or six people nor did police know why the fighting occurred to begin with.
The fight continued nearly a block away where one of the wounded men was transported to the hospital in the vicinity of Canal View Boulevard and Nova Road and the othe in the area of Canal View and Jackson Street, police said.
The identities of the victims was not released with one goiing to Halifax Urgent Care in Port Orange and the other to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
