Republican Eric Cantor has the nerve to call the demonstrators against Wall Street a “Mob.” That tells me that he is afraid of the American people who are rising up against the politicians and just may get him and others ousted from their cushy congressional seats.

His second worry is that they are causing people in the cities to lose their jobs. Wonder just who he means?
They are not rioting in the streets like other countries’ citizens are. They are not unruly or causing anyone that I’ve seen lose their job but merely gathering to make their opinions known and to point out major problems with the economic conditions in what is supposed to be the richest country in the world.
Between the banks, Wall Street and the people in power we now have two classes: rich and poor. The middle class is now in the poor category with many out of work, foreclosed homes and living on food stamps or food banks to feed their families.

One of our biggest problems is the divide between the two parties about what should be done. Let’s face it, they will never agree and the citizens suffer while they battle it out as evidenced by the down to the wire budget issue.
The so-called mob is simply trying to point out how we feel and that it is time to put our differences aside and work together to get this country going again. We’ve seen this before with protests against wars, which eventually got us out of untenable situations and during the depression which was much like the economics we have now.
Too bad we have to rise up and protest to get our representatives to do what they should do in the first place. What I see and I hope the American people see is that when “We the people” stand together we can make changes beneficial to us all.
Sorry if we are causing you, Mr. Cantor, some sleepless nights worrying about your job, but it's time you feel like the rest of the country either unemployed or expecting it any minute.
You and your pals are too far removed from your constituents up there in Washington with all your perks. We struggling citizens resent those perks we are paying for as you let us flounder. Shame on you all!
