NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- The Seabreeze Sandcrabs ran all over the New Smyrna Beach High Cudas at home Friday night and with the 49-21 romp, eliminated them from a chance at the playoffs.

Breast cancer awareness was displayed by the water girls on the Cudas sideline and by members of the band (more photos below).

Even when Seabreeze's Trevaughn Rodriguez was knocked out of the game in the first quarter with a pulled hamstring run on a touchdown, fellow running back Charles Nelson picked up the slack, with 249 years on the ground and four touchdowns.

Cudas quarterback Josh Brisebois had an outstanding game despite the final score, accounting for 225 of the Cudas' 300 offensive yards. Brisebois rushed for 112 yards, including a 20-yard score, and threw for 112 yards, including a 75-yard score to James Clark. Brisebois accounted for 224 of the Barracudas' 303 yards of offense. The Cudas, 2-4 on the season, hit the road Friday to play Fleming High School of Orange Park.

Despite being eliminated, head coach Lance Jenkins said he's sticking with Brisebois, the senior quarterback rather than going with an understudy.

The Cudas marching band was adorned in pink on instruments and bandanas in honor of breast cancer awareness at Friday night's football game.
