Sacred Heart eighth-grade graduating students treated to special breakfast at Mom's in New Smyrna Beach

NEW SMYRNA -- The twenty graduating eighth graders from Sacred Heart Catholic School were treated to a breakfast this morning at Mom's Home Cooking, 1201 N. Dixie Freeway. 

The students, most from New Smyrna Beach, and the rest from Edgewater, DeLand and Sanford, celebrated the end of the school year with a final breakfast together in advance of their 5 p.m. Friday graduation at Sacred Heart, 1003 Turnbull St. 

The graduates are Durwood Outlaw, Lindsey Breneman, Hannah Truslow, Colton Crouse, Derek Perry, Jason Weeks, Casey Barker, Ashley Myers, Cirstin Johnson, Samantha Lamb, Lauren Tse, Emily Thach, Hristos Giannakouros, Kade Sharkey, Mary Lane, Cameron Rotunda, Cathryn Holley, Thor Lessard, Saxon Sobolewski and Ryan Longdon.

The children were chaperoned by language arts teacher Rachel Woelfel and several moms for a hearty breakfast at Mom's.
