Let's work for peace for our children and grandchildren

EDGEWATER -- The whole world is in turmoil. Terrorists are killing too many innocent people daily. Airports throughout the world are spending billions of dollars on security and millions of people spend hours in line taking their shoes off going through electronic surveillance -- wasting millions of hours and thousands upon thousands of dollars.

Our military is fighting the terrorists on all fronts -- besides those dying, thousands of our young men and women are coming home without legs or arms or both, some blinded, and brain damaged. Is it worth it all?

I firmly believe the world is looking for peace: Someway, somehow, there must be a way. It's time for all heads of states all over the world -- the United States of America, France, Germany, Russia, Pakistan Afghanistan, Great Britain and all involved -- to call a summit and invite the terrorists.

Ask them what it is they want in order to end all of the terrorist killings of innocent people, whether by suicide bomber or other deeds. There must be something they are fighting for: Is it money? Land? A seat in government?

The money that is spent daily, which runs in the billions, offers them a sum for an unconditional guarantee to stop the killings, to stop the terror.

Let's all live in peace, enjoy life. We are all on this earth for a short time as it is. Please live life -- enjoy your wife and children.

President Obama, being a Muslim, needs to start the process. It's time for the world to live in peace -- for our children and grandchildren.
