Breaking News: Sheriff's Office looking for 80-year-old Deltona man with Alzheimer's

DELTONA The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help this morning in locating a 80-year-old man who has Alzheimer's.

Baltazar Maldonado left his home in Deltona Wednesday afternoon without his cell phone.

"He was last seen at his home on Blackstone Avenue wearing a blue plaid shirt and black pants," Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Haught told Headline Surfer.

"He was last seen at his home on Black"He has gone missing in the past and on that occasion was found at a restaurant in DeLand. Deputies searched the area for his red 2001 Pontiac van bearing license J553RM once they were notified by a relative. However, neither Maldonado nor his vehicle have been found."

Maldonado is described as  5 feet 5 and 145 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. He has cardiac problems and is on medication but doesn't have it with him.
