The Bangles are an American all-girl band led by Susanna Hoffs (who starred in the 1987 comedy movie, "The Allnighter") that originated in the early 1980s, scoring several hit singles during the decade: "Manic Monday," peaked at No. 2 in 1986; "Walk Like an Egypyian," peaked at No. 1, 1987; "A Hazy Shade of Winter," peaked at No. 2 in 1987; and  "Eternal Flame," peaked at No. 1 in 1988.

FIRST BOOK: 'Creepy Ass Cracker'

Henry Frederick's first book, Creepy Ass Cracker, 840 pages, self-published published through Xlibris Publishing, hits bookstores this summer. The book (available in hardcover, paperback and online) revolves around the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case, from his interview with the slain teen's parentys at a Miami in rally, and through the sensational trial and aftermath Frederick is the only reporter to have won journalism awards for both the shooting aftermath and the trial coverage.
Frederick's second book, "Wrestling ReWind (Lifelong love Affair with the Theater of the Absurd Inside & Outside the Squared Circle)" is planned for publication for the winter holidays.
He also has secured publishing rights to a third as yet untitled book.
