EDGEWATER, Fla. -- Another billionaire Democrat has jumped into the race for president.

This time it's Mike Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City.

Are you as sick of these rich politicians telling us poor folk how we should be living our lives on what we have now as they send bill after bill through to raid our Medicare funds and use their weird formula to decide we don’t need a cost of living increase? I sure am.

Maybe we need a broke non-politician voted in who knows what it is like trying to make the bills month after months without the wherewithal to pay them and trying to live on our pittance social security which provides little security since they keep telling us the money we have deposited by mandate all these years is practically gone.

What they don’t say is that it is because of them robbing money they were never supposed to touch and never paid it back. In fact they had no intention or the ability to do so. They are supposed to be our representatives but they more often represent themselves. They will vote to give their already bloated salaries a raise while many in this country are starving and have no jobs because they have allowed them to be moved to China of all places.

I don’t see much coming out of Washington these days to actually help the people. They turn a blind eye to the poor and have made much of the middle class into the poor. Not at all what their job is about. No idea how to manage this with billionaires spending small fortunes on campaigns not allowing average people to ever run for office.

The money and rules are stacked against this thus we have career politicians who live in ivory towers and pretend that they listen to constituents. It is all an act. Time for some very big changes in government and I don’t mean Bernie’s socialism. Just something with all the people in mind not just a few.

That’s my opinion and I am sticking to it.
