NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa will slip away from his workshop and busy schedule to visit Art Walk today on Flagler Avenue for a "Christmas
Celebration."
You can visit this special holiday Art Walk from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., as you avoid the traffic and the crowds at the malls and stroll along Flagler Avenue, the charming five-block area between the Indian River and the ocean.
There will be something for everyone. Galleries have works on display by more than 120 artists; and dozens of visiting artist will be set up under canopies on the avenue,
showcases painting, jewelry, ceramics, decorative art, sculpture, and fabric arts. There will be glassblowing demonstrations, pottery demonstrations, entertainment, a special prize drawing and more.
Santa knows that Flagler Avenue is the perfect place to take a relaxing stroll and do some last minute shopping, and he will be on the avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but then he must get back to work at the North Pole. So bring your cameras and your "wish list" to the gazebo at Flagler Avenue and Pine Street.
